See Um Smile Playhouse offers full time and part time employment. If you enjoy working with children, getting your hands dirty, singing silly songs and having dance parties we’d like to hear from you! For the safety and well being of our children, all of our staff must be CPR and First Aid certified. Our goal is to provide a safe, fun and nurturing environment for our children and staff. Our staff is also required to complete 20 hours or more of continuing education in early childhood classes each year.
Minimum requirements for employment include a high school diploma or GED, at least 18 years of age and the ability to pass a background check. The ability to lift up to 40 lbs is also required. Applicants with at least one year of childcare experience in a center, a CDA or an Associate’s degree or higher are preferred.
